Ibrahim Kamara

CO-FOUNDER & CEO, GUAP

Ibrahim Kamara is the co-founder and CEO of GUAP — the world's first video magazine, now a multi-platform youth media powerhouse covering music, fashion, arts, and culture. Growing up in Lewisham, South London, Ibrahim co-founded GUAP while in his final year of university studying accounting and finance, funding its early days by working at Tesco before committing fully to the venture. What started as a digital magazine built on representation and community has grown into a major cultural platform.

Under Ibrahim's leadership, GUAP has partnered with global brands including Nike, Instagram, TikTok, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Apple, Kurt Geiger, and Converse. He was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list (2023), has delivered a TEDx talk and spoken on creativity at Meta, and hosted the GUAP Gala — one of London's most prominent cultural events — at the Natural History Museum in partnership with Instagram. GUAP has been a launchpad for some of the UK's most significant emerging creative talent, profiling J Hus and other major names before mainstream recognition.

On the Media, PR & Industry Visibility panel, Ibrahim will speak from the frontlines of building an independent media brand rooted in culture and representation — sharing what designers and creatives need to understand about storytelling, digital visibility, and how to leverage media platforms to build audiences that are genuinely loyal.
