  Our Mission

Our mission at Unity in Design Global Network (UDGN) is to radically reimagine what fashion success looks like, centering inclusion, cultural equity, and sustainable growth for minority designers.

We exist to close the opportunity gap by providing underrepresented creatives with the tools, guidance, and visibility they need to build impactful brands that thrive in today’s global industry. From mentorship and manufacturing support to press opportunities and wellness resources, we are building a system that values both creative excellence and human wellbeing.

At UDGN, we believe that fashion’s future must be collaborative, not competitive. Our goal is to build a connected, empowered ecosystem where diverse designers can grow confidently, on their own terms, and in community with others who believe in their brilliance.

  About the Founder

Tare Isaac is a fashion designer, consultant, Global Talent Endorsement  recipient, and a member of the British Fashion Council.

With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, Tare has worked at the intersection of business strategy, PR, manufacturing, and global brand expansion—helping emerging designers move from overlooked to celebrated. Having built a fashion brand from scratch as a Black immigrant designer in the UK, Tare knows the grit it takes to survive and the support it takes to thrive. From navigating visa pressures to producing collections during a pandemic, her journey has been anything but linear—but it’s that lived experience that inspired the birth of UDGN. UDGN is not just a platform; it's a movement rooted in community, culture, and care. Through this initiative, Tare is creating the kind of industry support system she wish existed earlier in her journey—one that truly sees and serves underrepresented designers with the tools, mentorship, visibility, and mental wellness support needed to succeed long-term.
