PROGRAMME LEADER, FASHION BUSINESS — ISTITUTO MARANGONI LONDON | AUTHOR
Sennait Ghebreab is the Programme Leader for Fashion Business at Istituto Marangoni London, one of the world's most prestigious fashion schools, where she has led the BA Business, BA Buying, and BA Communication courses since 2015. Born in Milan to Eritrean parents, Sennait built her industry career across more than a decade in fashion business development, buying, and brand strategy in London, working with internationally recognised luxury brands including Burberry, Matthew Williamson, Pringle of Scotland, and Joseph.
Beyond academia, Sennait runs a boutique consultancy serving Arab luxury retailers and Italian fashion businesses. She is the co-author of Responsible Fashion Business in Practice (Routledge, 2023) — described by Vogue Italia's Head of Editorial Content as an essential guide for responsible business leaders and fashion consumers — and was named in the Italian Talents Under 40 by the Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Embassy in London in 2021.
On the Media, PR & Industry Visibility panel, Sennait will bring both academic rigour and real industry experience to the conversation — exploring how fashion brands build visibility, communicate their values, and develop the media strategy and business acumen needed to stand out in an increasingly competitive global market.
